Jonathan holds Social Work and Adult Education qualifications and has a long history working with refugees, young people and in social housing and has run a variety of non-government organisations. He joined Circus Monoxide in 2016 and has concentrated on building the organisation, and supporting access for marginalised communities. He has produced a number of shows, including the recent development of Mr Abishev, directed by Natano Fa’anana. He is a performer in Eklektika, which creates eclectic musical performances, often incorporating other artforms, including circus. Eklektika has toured overseas, including a live Chinese TV performance held at the Sun Yat Sen Musical Stage in Nanjing. More recently, Eklektika performed at the launch of the Sydney Fringe Festival, and is a featured artist on the program.
