LEVEL 1
Aerials Level 1 is the perfect starting point for anyone new to circus arts in Wollongong. Students build the physical and technical foundations needed to move safely and confidently on aerial apparatus, no experience required.
Develops core strength, body awareness, and foundational technique across silks, trapeze, and lyra
Teaches essential skills including climbing, basic hangs, poses, and body shapes with a focus on correct form
Covers safe mounting, dismounting, and key body positions such as straddle and tuck
Introduces aerial terminology so students feel informed and confident from day one
Incorporates basic tumbling, partner balances, and object manipulation to build coordination and creativity
LEVEL 2
Aerials Level 2 is designed for students ready to push their aerial skills further. Building on foundational techniques, this level introduces more dynamic and expressive movement across silks, trapeze, and lyra.
