Samuel has over a decade of experience in marketing and PR, working with organisations including La Boite Theatre Company, Festival of Australian Student Theatre, Circa Contemporary Circus, National Institute of Circus Arts, and City of Melbourne. He has also worked on freelance independent projects and is currently Acting Marketing Manager at Melbourne Youth Orchestras.
As an artist, Samuel has worked as a sound designer and performer, including works at La Boite Theatre Company, Metro Arts, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Festival of Voices, QMF, and Brisbane Festival. Samuel composed additional music and performed in Everyday Requiem by Expressions Dance Company. He also co-conceived Boombox, which had a national tour in 2015, and performed off-Broadway at The Lounge in New York.
Samuel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Drama) from QUT and is currently studying his Masters in Directing for Performance at Victorian College of the Arts. He is the Artistic Lead of theatrical collective Split Focus.
