Currently the Deputy Chair of the CM Management Committee, Peter has been on the board since 2017 and prior to that his engagement with Circus Monoxide was as a parent, seat stacker and he occasionally wielded a sledge hammer when CM had a ‘Big Top’. On the peripheries of the extended Monoxide family since 2005 when when he wrote a performance piece for Circus WoW (Out of the Box – Unhinged Short Play Festival) Peter has in more recent years filmed and edited footage of various CM performances including And Imagine (2017) &Within (2019). A NIDA Playwright Studio graduate with an M.A. in Communication /Professional Writing (UTS) Peter has worked as a dramaturg, editor and scriptwriter. For the last 16 years he has been employed by TAFE Illawarra as a Teacher across several faculties including Communication, Prevocational (HSC), Tertiary Preparation and Film & Media. When not carrying an injury he can be found surfing, rock climbing, mountain biking, snow skiing or in the chocolate aisle at Woolies.
