RichMix events that have taken place this year:
Handstands - How to do ALOT with not much!
This was a fabulous five-day creative hand-balancing series for anyone working physically in the performing arts. With trainer and circus performer Matt Wilson - AKA 'Crash Matt.'
'Edith' - A work-in-progress showing
Edith is an aerial-theatre piece in development by local performer, trainer extraordinaire, and Monoxide associate director Jane Davis. In March, RichMix presented the next phase of 'Edith' to a local audience for feedback at the Monoxide training space, and again at The Vault Cabaret. (And yet more Edith will showcase this month at The Vault!). The excerpts presented this year constitute the beginnings of a solo show for 2009/010.
Please note that several RichMix training programs are only open to members of Circus Monoxide, so if you do want to take part in any of these, we'll need to sign you up in advance. Again, ask Al about this.
